THIS TRUCK IS A FRESH BUILD, ONLY 5 MILES!!
Offering for sale my 1987 GMC 1/2 ton Sierra Stepside truck. I am about 98% complete with this full frame off restoration and work is still in process. I currently have invested over $37000.00 in parts and materials not counting labor or body and paint time. Almost all metal parts have been powder coated including the frame, all the engine sheet metal and hard parts, sway bars, brake calipers and the front suspension and rear axle. The body is complete; the hood and wiper cowl are painted will be installed once sold.. The motor is a fresh ZZ4 5.7L with roller cam, roller rockers, TBI and a 700r4 transmission, these are installed and run like new, and yes it will pass California smog. The rear end is a factory 10 bolt with a Eaton Posi, 3:42 gears and Moser axles. The quality of this complete frame off restoration gets no better, this is a straight show winning build, viewing in person is beyond what any pic can show. I have also included some pics of the truck during the build to show the progress. These trucks are very hot in the market today and the right build can pull over big money at auction, I know this this is the third one I have built.
NOTE: The truck is complete less parts of the interior and parts of the A/C, we are selling it as is so the new owner will finish what is needed. I will consider finishing the build for the buyer at an agreed upon price. I am still slowly working to complete the build while it is currently for sale.
