GMC STEPSIDE PICKUPI bought this truck last year.My plan wasto make a shop truck witha patina paint job and garage graphics with a plush interior andold school Cragers and white walls.This truck is an excellent candidate for that. I wanted a truck that was great mechanically but easy to maintain and use. The previous ownerworked on this truck for 5 years until hehad hip surgery and could not finish it. He wentthrough all the mechanicals, removed all rust from the bodyand painted it with PPG etching primer and 2 coats of epoxy. Iput it in my garage,cleaned the gas tank andranthe engine now and thento keep everything in working order. I just bought a new street rod at a car show last weekand I am selling all 3of my toys to get it in the garage. I have a pic of it at the car show. There are still things to do butThis truck can be driving in a couple of weekends. I have a restored 1949 Chevy and a Killer1947 Aero sedan I will be listing
REBUILT 400 HORSE POWER 350 ENGINE, the previousowner had a machinist he worked withat the ship yard rebuild the engine. The block was sent out to a machine shop.I don't know all the details of howthe engine was put together but ithas no miles on it except for being run in thedriveway to break it in.It sounds beautiful and has the sound that you want from a Hot Rod
The exhaust is brand new with3 inch pipesand new CERAMICHOOKER HEADER, Pure Fire stainless steel mufflers, and new hangers
10bolt Chevy Rear End, with new shocks
New Clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing
New 100 amp, single wire distributor
New radiator, fan, heater box, hoses
New HEI distributor and spark plug wires
New front green tintedwindshield and window seal
New chrome door handles, taillights, tailgate chains, brackets, new door hinges,and turn signal lenses for the hood
Newpolished stainless steel door seal plateswith GMC script
The transmission is a 4 speed on the floor with a new Hurst Shifter
The brakes and wheel cylinders are completely rebuilt with new brake lines and hoses
Floors and cabare very solid with no rust in the cab corners
COMPLETELY NEW BED FROM LMC TRUCKCOMPLETE OAK BED WITH STAINLESS STRIPS AND MOUNTING HARDWARE, NOT SHOWN IN PICTURES

The bed, fenders, tailgate, steps,etc, are bolted together for the pictures
I have new ventwindow seals, rubber for the door window openings and some other rubber parts that I cannot think of at the moment but will give the buyer everything I have for the truck with the exception of the ididit steering column.
NEEDSBack window, side windows, new tiresThe steering column needs new bearings and a new steering wheel. I bought a new IDIDIT steering column (not included)that the buyer can have for an extra 500 dollarsSomeone to complete the small things
I have only driven this truck back and forth in the driveway and it seems very sound mechanically. I have great confidence that the engine, transmission, brakes, rear end, etc are all sound as described to me by the previous owner. He is a well known Hot Rodder, but I cannot guarantee everything.
I have listed the vehicle honestly but there are no warrantees or guarantees. Truck is sold as is where is, but I do not think you will be disappointed.
