Description for GMC Typhoon 1993
Up for sale is a 1993 GMC Typhoon in Garnet Red. This color was only produced in 93 and 24 were made.Truck runs great! No check engine lights, I have made multiple 5 hour trips in it. All stock. I even took it to England with me for 2 years and daily drove it without any issues. Truck has been nothing but great to me! Only thing wrong would be the occasional puff of blue smoke during startup, which would be the valve seals. The truck drives straight and hits 14 lbs of boost without any issues. The truck runs very well!
The exterior could use paint. It is pretty straight with a few little dings and a little crack in the rear passenger side cladding. The factory GM clear coat hasn't held up too nicely.
The interior isn't bad. Seats have a bit of wear but aren't torn. The rear panels are a little faded and some have some scratches from the rear seats being folded up and down. The driver side window switch needs a new bezel to hold the switch. The hatch pop button wires have been cut from a previous owner.
All in all, this truck would be a great driver that could be restored slowly while driving it. If it were me, I would just have it painted and keep driving it, but I have ended up with too many toys.
Truck is for sale as is. No warranty. Buyer must send a $500 deposit within 24 hours, and the remainder must be paid by wire transfer or cash in hand within 7 days. Buyer pays for shipping, but I will assist in any way I can. If you have any questions feel free to message me and I can send you any pictures you want!
I will include the stock wheels if the truck is picked up, or the shipping company allows me to put them in the back.
