We just acquired this outstanding original 1992 4 Wheel Drive Yukon from the gentleman that ordered it and bought it new 25 years ago. A review of the options available that year indicates this is a fully optioned example and built in the very attractive combination of Bright Blue metallic and Quicksilver Two-Tone with Blue custom cloth interior. the 5.7 L 350 V8 back up by the four-speed automatic overdrive transmission and a 3:42 rear axle ratio. Over and above the SLE package this Yukon has A host of other options including a very rare six way power driver seat, the only one we have ever seen on the Yukon of this vintage. Hi-back Bucket seats, power windows and locks, electric remote mirrors and an in-dash tachometer wrap up the options list.
One look at our photos will demonstrate that the original owner was a fanatic on the care and maintenance of this vehicle. Overall it is in incredible condition with every convenience items working perfectly. The truck is solid with no rust damage issues on the floors or anywhere else. It is undercoated from new. The truck is about 75% marginal paint with only the lower front fenders, rocker panels and quarter panels rear of the tires refinished about 10 years ago to correct some very minor rust repair that was done incorrectly and shows no expense of re-occurrence. The owner was very clear that the truck has never had any collision repair what so ever and it's 25 years on the road. Exterior chrome, trim, glass and the factory striping is all in excellent condition. The factory original aluminum wheels are near mint and four new correct size tires or fitted less than 1000 miles ago. Note that the original spare tire is brand-new, never been removed.
The SLE custom cloth interior is near mint condition showing no wear or damage anywhere. Totally original inside with the no sun damage as the truck was always garaged. Even the original GMC factory floor mats are in place and like new. Every control and lamp on the dash work perfectly, something rarely seen in a truck of this vintage.
Meticulous service and never abused in any way, this Yukon you come drives like a low mile late model vehicle with outstanding performance and a quiet rattle free ride. The transmission and four-wheel-drive system operate perfectly. This truck can be driven anywhere with confidence and a recent state safety inspection revealed nothing needed. A new state inspection sticker can be affixed if the vehicle sells in state.
All of the original paperwork including the original GMC window sticker is included with this truck. You would look long and hard to find a better early Yukon or Blazer than this one. These older sport utilities are getting very popular with prices on the rise and we have this one priced to sell reasonably.
