Rare 1940 GMC pickup for sale.

This was the last year trucks were sold to the general public until after the war.
I purchased it on eBay for $25K back in December 2015 but medical bills are mounting and we just can't justify keeping it any longer.

Since December 2015 I've spent over $20K for professionals to update / repair / improve every system.
This is an 8-10 year old restoration.
The engine had been replaced with an 8 cylinder '69 Chevelle
The rear end was replaced with a Chevy 12 bolt.
The 700r4 is an automatic transmission.
It has power steering and power brakes. (Disc brakes in front)
We added seat belts, a radio, it has new tires, a new carburetor, a new battery, new brakes, the entire exhaust system was replaced. The entire rear end was rebuilt. It has all new belts and hoses.
The wood bed is in perfect condition. The paint is also in great shape.
The heater core, cable and fan were rebuilt, the wipers motors were replaced, the starter motor was replaced, the power steering pump was replaced, the water pump too.
The wiper control, the fog light switch, the backup lights, and a few gauges were repaired.
The truck is now in perfect shape. It's a delight to drive. It easily keeps up with any other car or truck on the highway. It's quiet and super clean. The underside is pristine. Absolutely dry. No drips. No rust.
