1967 GMC Duel Wheel Truck

This is an auction for a 1967 GMC flatbed truck. This truck has a 305 Big block V6 motor. The motor runs good with no smoke. It has tappit noise because it has solid lifters. which is a normal sound. It has 4 Speed transmission. The bed is a flat bed and it has a place for a goose neck trailer that will need to be finished. The bed has been fastened down for transport or if you decide to drive it home. but I wouldn't recommend hauling anything on it until it is permanently fastened down. All the lights work except for the back up lights. The wires to the tail lights. in the pictures. are showing but they will have wire looms put on them and will be fastened up before the truck is scheduled for pickup. It has had new rear cab corners and a cross brace. Floor boards are in good shape but has some small spots that can be patched. Wheel wells inside and out are in really decent shape except for a few holes down near the radiator cross member. The radiator cross member is in excellent shape. The hood is in good shape inside and out. The fenders are good but it is missing the front bumper. I have head light rings and side mirrors as shown in pictures. Inside gas tank is as clean as being new. The sinding unit has been replaced. This truck carries good oil pressure and doesn't run hot. It has good duel exhaust. The doors are very nice and open and shut like new. The tires on this truck are old and have some dry rot. but they do stay up with no leaks. It has power breaks that stop good. This truck is driveable but I haven't went long distances with it. Still has the original manaual choke that still works. The heater works. but doesn't have the 2 defroster hoses hooked up to them. but I do have them. The rubber around the front and back windshields are in excellent shape and like new and all the glass is good. It has a new brake master cylinder on it and looks like most of the lines have been replaced. This truck has good hoses and belts. The clutch is a tiny bit jerky from sitting around but straightens out well after driving. Transmission shifts smoothly and front end feels okay. Windshield wipers work but could use new rubber blades. It has new spark plugs in the motor. but could use new plug wires. Some people are taking the newer duel wheel truck beds and putting them on these older trucks and they look really nice. This truck is in good shape for its age but it is not a new truck but does need to be finished and it will make a very nice truck. I have driven this truck around my yard alot and up and down the road around my house and it has ran for many hours. It starts and runs very good.
