1965 gmc

Description for GMC 1000 Series 1965

This truck is just what you see. I replaced the four speed with a 350 Auto so the wife could drive it, but she changed her mind.

I have new metal bed strips but no wood for the bed, the seat was completely redone five years ago and looks brand new. I am guessing at the mileage due to the fact I am not at home at the moment

I replaced the engine three years ago and it has maybe 100 miles on it. thanks to a auto transport driver the Mallory distributor module is burnt out. I have removed the resister block so they could not drive it, but they tried anyways hens the burnt module.

The four speed trans and all the parts I have gathered over the years are going with the truck

I just do not have time to work and enjoy driving it with my work and travel.

The truck does come with a NP four speed manual trans and all the parts to make it original again. It also stall has the original Rockwell divorced transfer case. Along with the original nose piece from the hood. I am also putting all the spare parts for GMC's that I have acquired over the years. The rims and lift are oem right from the factory.

I also need to mention that the missing head light bezels and GMC lettering have been removed and are stored inside the cab. Also the axles are Dana 60 with stock drum brakes and stock deep dish rims 15" and I think they are 12" wide.
