Description for GMC Sierra 1500 1972
1972 GMC 1500 Short bed straight 6 250 runs and drives great currently is my daily driver. I bought the truck from the original owner.Great running driving truck fly in and drive it home! They bought the truck new in 1972 and the family owned a local parts store and this was the shop truck.original owners say it well maintained and had no accidents.Newer rebuild on engine and re-manufactured th350.It is lowered 3 inches front 5 in the rear on drop coils.Cab corners floor and rockers are solid.Cab mounts are all solid as wellfrom what i could see when i was under the truck. This truck has no structural rust issues. No rust around windshield.New master cylinder and brakes.Lowered 3/5 on drop springs. Great to cruise as is or LS swap.If you're looking for solid truck to start building this is a great one no frame rust all the components function as they should, even the original radio works.Heat functions correctly as well.Truck is happy going around town and never get above 180 degrees.Cruises on the highway easy and does 70 without breaking a sweat. This straight 6 has headers on it and is happier and stronger than any 1980's 350 I have dealt with. It''ll even do burnouts. It is a 5 lug truck so it'll accept whatever nice wheels you decide to put on it.It is also a rear trailer arm truck so it does handle nicer. This is your chance to own a 1967-1972 without spending 20,000.Buy this and drive it or drop and LS or SBC in it. Cant lose either way.$500 non-refundable deposit due within 24 hours of auction ending.
