Description for GMC Sprint 1971

Original 1971 GMC Sprint SP, 1 of 6 built with the LS5 454 (365hp), Turbo 400 Automatic Transmission, Cruise Control, Air Conditioning, and 12 bolt rear. The original build sheet has been saved and is ready for the new buyer. The vehicle has correct numbers matching engine, transmission, and the 12 bolt rear. The motor and transmission were rebuilt, possibly in the early 2000's. The vehicle runs very well and shifts properly. The frame appears to be solid. The roof, hood, and rear floors will need to be replaced. The sheet metal also comes with the car. The original exhaust manifolds are in good shape. The vehicle had headers installed at some point, which will need to be replaced. The parking brake works, but the brake lines and fuel lines are leaking. I also have a new fuel tank, straps, and sending unit to go with the vehicle. The plan was to restore the vehicle but too many projects. I replaced the fuel pump, spark plugs, and rebuilt the carb. I have a plastic 1.5 fuel can in the engine bay since all the fuel lines need to be replaced. The fuel reservoir will also go with the vehicle to move the vehicle around on its own power.
