Truck is in outstanding original condition with a natural "Petina" that is often attempted on restoration vehicles. Original and correct 305"D" engine that was just dis-assembled - cleaned - inspected - reassembled, installed a new clutch package while engine was out as well.

Runs and drives as it did 55 years back, plenty of low end torque with not much HP, oil around 60psi @ idle

4X4 works as it should, has factory Spicer lockouts on the front hubs.

Interior is in outstanding condition for a Forest service brush truck, still has the original vinyl seat and floor mat. Have a vintage 23 channel midland CB in a box that goes with (this is now installed in the truck), mounts and antenna are still on the truck

Bed is original and still shows original black paint from the factory, bed sides and tailgate edges are immaculate. Custom "one off" rear step bumper.

Cab corners, rockers, door bottoms and basically the whole underside are all amazing, just a slight bit of rust on the bottoms of both front fenders.

Original Goodyear Diamond deep lug 7.50x17" tires on the GMC 3 piece wheels

Truck has spent it's life thus far tucked away in the elevations of the Ruby mountains in Eastern Nevada. It's been regularly serviced by the State of Nevada it's entire stay there, still has the equipment logs in the glove box!

This is a great example of an unmolested "survivor" which still has the original green paint under the topcoated Forset service Green. (which comes off fairly well with a pressure washer)
