Vehicle Details

1980 GMC 1 ton 4x4.  Painted high visibility yellow by GM when new for service as Fire Truck.  11,000 original miles is documented.  Frame off restoration.  Current mileage is right around 13,000.  Vin number on frame matches vin number on dash which also matches the original vin tag on driver door.  This truck was completed summer 2021 and has been driven to shows and enjoyed.  It is a driver.  It is a completely rust free truck.  It has not been repaired.  It has been refinished (see images).  Turn on the A/C, put it on the freeway, head for the show.  Truck effortlessly maintains 75 MPH with the 4L80E overdrive transmission.  I am the owner, I built the truck.  I am 52 and have been building vehicles all my life.  This is a very nice truck.  Stripe and lettering is a simple decal and can easily be removed to add a different Fire Company name if desired.  Shipping assistance is available.
