1966 gmc truck K10

Description for GMC K1000 Pickup 1966

Older restoration of a very solid truck originally from Arizona. It belonged to my father for over 20 years until he became unable to drive it at which time it passed to me. Always garaged and regular serviced (some service records are available and come with the vehicle). Vehicle is in overall good condition with very few signs of wear, the exceptions being that he taped the vinyl on the drivers seat where the stitching had split and there are two minor areas of rust just starting to show on the doors (Pictured). The truck is a very solid driver and drives well. It handles as a truck of it's period would be expected to. It has a 3 speed manual column shift transmission.
Sadly this is the vehicle in my collection that I have to let go as I am a VW guy and don't know a lot about GM products. I also have too many vehicles and it's getting harder to properly maintain them all. Subsequently it is reluctantly time for me to try and find this old boy another good home where it can be cherished as my father cherished it.I will be available to assist with shipping details.
