This is a great truck. I have owned it for eight years. It was always garaged. The transmission was done a few months ago and the new engine was installed about a year ago.
While it looks like a show truck from 20 feet away, it isn’t. The paint color is gorgeous and it has a great shine to it, but it also has scratches. There are two spots with rust on the drivers door and very repairable. The wood bed needs replacing. It was going to be next for me. I first bought it and had it shipped to me in California. When I registered it in CA at the California Highway Patrol, they added a “Replacement Identification Number” on the door jamb. I have no idea what the relevance of that is, but thought I should mention it. It is registered in CA through June 2023.
This truck is great to drive as is, or, if you want to make it show quality, in my opinion, new paint, new wood bed and some of the interior would do it.
This truck is unique and gorgeous. It puts smiles on everyone’s faces. Along with being very unique, it really is a pleasure to drive. I have had a great time with it and it is now ready for a new home. Note that the mileage is unknown. I prefer to sell it to someone that can come see it, or send an inspector. It will be for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early.
