Description for GMC Suburban 1972
You are looking at an outstanding Survivor Survivor 1972 GMC Suburban Carry All 1500 Super Custom K Series 350 4x4 Truck. This beauty has 81433 original miles and spent most of it's life on a farm and was stored in a barn for a long time until recently.
It features an all numbers matching drive train with a Chevrolet 350 4 bbl engine turbo 400 transmission 4x4 and is original down to the AM radio. It does need a complete restoration but runs and drives. It also has the scarce hearse style rear doors.
Below is a video collection of the truck:

Mechanically this truck runs well but could use a tune up. The 350 is quiet with no valve train or other noise. The transmission shifts as it should and it steers / turns stops fairly well. The headlights wipers and other accessories we tested work aside from the radio. Even the interior light works! Note the car runs and drives down the road but will need tires brakes a tune up and probably some other work due to age. The battery is new as well and the glass is all good with some slight hazing on the lower windshield. Cosmetically it is in great shape but has it's share of rust as you can see in the photos. The rust is in the inner rockers part of the outer edge of the floor pans and the quarter panels It looks like the vehicle had some rust repair and was repainted years ago to a close green to the original color. The doors hood tailgates and fenders are pretty solid and the floor / inner rockers / quarters could be welded up or replaced as they reproduce loads of parts for this truck. The title is clear but it is bonded due to being a barn find. You can Google search bonded titles to get a good feeling for how they work. We have had many bonded titles over the years as an auction company residing in Wisconsin. We cannot warranty any parts and as with any vintage vehicle they are always a project in some way. Please note this before bidding if you are looking for a vehicle that will operate like a new vehicle. Collector cars are many times tempermental and reliability can be a factor on some. We also did not test each accessory or feature and only drove the vehicle for a short distance. Also note there are marks and dings from use and age. Any of these should be trailered to their destination until the vehicle is checked over for safety (tires etc). The title is free and clear and we are also requiring a bill of sale be signed by the new owner stating this truck is being purchased as-is. It is a straight car as you can see in the photos but just to be clear it has Wisconsin rust issues and needs a complete restoration. The colors are great and it is very old school. As stated it gets a ton of attention and would make a great addition to your Chevrolet GMC or classic car/ truck collection.
