Description for Honda Civic 1983
I have owned it since 2008. All the documentation for any work back to the day of purchase Even has the original book in glove compartment with dealer name.Purchased Walnut Creek Honda in CA, t has spent it's life between the bay area and Washington. Every fill up and MPG documented since 2004.It has been my commuting car since 2008 driving an 80 mile round trip 3 or 4 times a week and it is just time to sell - condition is overall good for a 32 year old car and I would say it needs a few smaller jobs including - I would replace all the brake pads as it is time, he emergency brake needs a spring if you want to use it (sometimes sticks) one of the tires has wear on one side, he others are in good condition the front panel is slightly loose, as some blue smoke when accelerating when cold, eeds a tiny (maybe 16 ounces) of oil between changes. Has one bondo repair near rear window (see picture). Indicator lever has a temporary repair (has lasted since before I owned), mall hole in muffler about mid way, ear hatch struts need replacing, ome tears etc in seats (has covers). Vehicle was parked next to my house when an airplane dropped retardant - most has been removed but you can still see some in places (washes off with soap). On the good side I change the oil at 3-4k with part synth high mileage. Choke & vacuum lines all good, 5 mpg, o rust, ainted recently (DIY job - 3 years ago some peeling near rear and roof) new alternator, tarter, attery and has been maintained regularly.
This car takes the size of tire that tire companies put in their ads - I went in to get some advertised from $29 dollars and the store owner told me "we only put that size in our ads, o-one actually buys them", ut he did order them and I had a new set of tires installed etc for less that $140.
Bike rack in the picture is not included. Free Ballard sticker will stay with the car. Registration is expired.
Shipping - I am happy to ship if you arrange and pay. I can deliver to a shipping company for what it costs me (trailer and truck gas) within a distance - as it does not have registration I would trailer it, ut please contact me before bidding if you wanted help with shipping. Vehicle is located in Eastern Washington.
