Description for Honda Accord 1990
You are bidding on a 1990 Honda ACCORD EX 4DSD with5 speed (extremely smooth) manual transmissionwith 237,200 (well maintained) miles on odometer. MOBIL1 oil and filter used since I acquired it. Rear main seal drips a little oil (as all old Hondas do) but it does NOT BURN any oil. This has been a "hobby/work in progress" for the past 7 years. It has a FULL fiberglass body kit with front and rear bumpers and side skirts. It has adjustable lowering springs, ll new suspension parts front and rear. Front dimpled and slotted rotors with new calipers and pads. New rear drums with new shoes and brake kits, .e., prings, tc. Both front axles and hubs have been replaced. New gas tank and new fuel pump. Just about all components under hood have been replaced including but not limited to alternator, uel pressure regulator, hrottle body, hrottle position sensor, new battery (10/15), dditional A/C fan, tarter, distributor, ap and 8MM ACCEL wires, GR Valve, tc., tc. SPECTRE air cleaner (similar to K&N) and I also have an MSD BLASTER coil anddistributorcap that goes with car. Custom made dual exhaust with twin DC SPORTS chrome tips exiting through cutouts that were fabricated in body kit rear bumper. Body kit front and rear bumper were blended into main body by body shop several years ago prior to it being painted AUDI Jet Black enamel. Several spots on body have been touched up recentlywith small amounts of body filler and red glazing and spot putty before being sanded and primed and then painted with black enamel paint that (overall) blended fairly well. New headlights and front corner lights as well as LED directional strip-lights in mesh part of front grille on left and right sides. Too, ED strip lights in front and rear mesh portion of bumpers.
Inside has two 3R Racing Bucket Seats mounted on rails for forward and rear adjusting. G-Force 5-point harness for driver. LightedAuto meter gauges mounted atop dash including Monster Tach with shift light, il pressure, ater temperature and voltmeter gauges allmounted at an angle to face driver. New Pioneer AM/FM radio with Bluetooth capability and a port for plugging in iPod or phone to play songs through radio. Toggle switches mounted on side of center console that control Tach and its light, uxiliary A/C fan, auge lights, lighted) fuel pump switchand spring loadedswitch for starter. Cruise control, ilt, steering wheel, ower front windows, power adjustable side-view mirrors and alarm system. Cold A/C. Has sunroof but it is sealed shut because of leak found in it inearlier stages of ownership. Auxiliary turn and stop LED lights mounted on rear deck above back seat. Rear seat folds forward thus making long items easy to carry. Donut spare tire with jack and lug wrench. Custom "DRAG (brand) spoked wheels with locking lug nuts all the way around. Tires are almost new (Front are ASPEN TOURING A/S 205/50R16's, ears are NITTO same size).4 wheel alignment was doneAFTER car was lowered to compensate for camber change and subsequently better, ven tire wear.
I think I have covered it all but may have missed a few things along the way. This car can only really be appreciated upon seeing, earing and driving it. Although it is a stock 2.2L (134.2c.i.) motor it has plenty of torque and get-up-and-go. Too, t cruises nicely and doesn't have a rattle in it.
I own too many cars and so this one must go. I have had my fun "rebuilding" it and now it is time for someone else to enjoy it. I even think that with a few changes a VTEC engine will fit right in the engine compartment in place of the 2.2L stock engine.
