This car needs absolutely nothing in order to be a solid daily driver. We are the second owners and have had the car basically garaged for just under 2 years. We bought the car with 66k miles and have only put another 700 on it in 22 months of ownership. The car was purchased for the sole purpose of teaching a teen to drive. That mission is complete and the car is now ready for its next owner. We replaced the battery about 4 months ago and have done nothing to it otherwise.
The car has obvious battle scars from 25 years of service, ut there are absolutely NO MAJOR ISSUES.
It's got A/C, ut the system needs to be converted (couple hundred dollars). The horn needs repair. The power windows and locks work. The windshield wipers work on the intermittent setting. The radio/cassette player works. The overall condition of the interior is very good with the exception of the tops of the door panels. While, e've kept the car garaged, ts first owner did not and the California sunshine wore and faded them over the years. The dashboard is in very good condition as well.
This Honda is not a glamour car, ut will run to the moon if it could. I'd have no concerns whatsoever about driving it across the country and back a few times. In my opinion, his car can be restored to original beauty with minor body work and paint. Otherwise, am 100% confident that this roadworthy vehicle will serve you well for many years to come. Clear California title in hand, eady to be signed over. Local pickup is OK and shipping is the buyers responsibility.
