Description for Honda CRX 1991

This car has been my daily driver since April, 2011 when it had 219,000 miles on the clock. When I purchased the car, it had an HF motor with a DX transmission and ECU, which did not work at all well, providing only average mileage and no performance. I installed a HF ECU, HF tranny, removed door and bumper bolsters, took out AC to reduce weight significantly. Rims are skinny spare tire rims to allow use of 135/80 r13 tires, giving less rolling resistance. Also installed new rings and bearing, head gasket, valve cover gasket, timing belt, radiator, CV axles, brakes. I typically get 55 MPG, occasionally get up in the 60's. Push button starter to allow driver to coast on hills and shut off at stop lights.
Interior, carpet, and seats are all in very nice condition. Of course the temperature control face plate is broken. Also not that the rear plastic has been cut where a rear stiffener bar had been installed at one time. Headliner needs re-glued in spots. Not sure which Honda the seats are out of, they are not original, but they are comfortable, in good shape, and fit the same tracks. Grant sport steering wheel, short throw shifter, Altezza tail lights. The paint is not as good as it looks in the pictures. The interior is as good as it looks in the pictures, but does have some age consistent defects on the plastic bits.
A bit of the typical rust starting above the rear wheel arches, but not too bad. Drivers side fender slightly distorted where some moron drove against the garage door opening trying to get around another car. Passengers mirror is broken. Inertial real seat belts have been replaced with lap belts to save about 30 lbs of weight. Front radius arm bushings are worn. Drives fine, but sometimes you hear a noise from those bushings when pulling out. There is other age typical wear, but nothing that keeps it from going down the road in a straight line and no shimmies or shakes.
A real nice place to start a conversion project, or a hyper-miler. Or just a good donor for seats and interior parts if you have a car with a ratty interior or no interior.
If you are using it for a conversion project, take $150 off the final price if you can leave me the engine, front suspension, transmission, ecu, and harness. It will make it a bit more difficult to get on a trailer or dolly, but we will figure something out.
After 5 years of driving, breaking up is hard to do, but I have a conversion project (Honda Accord V6 into a Triumph Spitfire) that I really want to get started on and I need room in my garage.
If you are using it "as is" or as a hyper-miler I can give you a spare motor and some other bits as well.

Forgot to note that I also installed new clutch disk, pressure plate, and throw-out bearing when I got the car.
