1981 Honda Accord. First Generation. 53. 50 Original Miles. Garage from new. One owner until last year. Purchased new in Sacramento CA. Driven lightly by Elenor (original owner. and what the car is now named) until she could no longer drive and placed on non-op and garaged since 2006. Mechanically the car is in great shape. Carberated so takes a minute to warm up. I added fresh gas and a brand new battery and she fired right up and runs as a 50k miles should. Every thing works. AC is working and blows cold. Compressor does cycle quick so probably needs a top off. Automatic transmission shifts smoothly. I have not tuned it or anything just pulled it from storage and fired it up again. But does run good. All lights. nbsp;electrical. nbsp;gauges work as they should. There is a pinhole in the muffler where the tailpipe comes out of it and I added a photo. Mechanically I think it is solid. As for the body it is MINT. Original paint is excellent. Shines bright and very very straight and clean. All plastic and rubber is very sharp and not dried (evidence of being garaged and no out in the hot sun). Only two small dings in the whole car and they are so small they do not photograph. No rust anywhere. Trunk looks brand new. Chrome is sharp and bright. Interior is also cherry with exception of tear in drives seat. No dash cracks. headliner looks new as does rear seat. It is clean. All glass is perfect and rubber soft and supple. This is as good as they come for an Original car. I think it really belongs with a Honda collector. Please ask questions before bidding. I can hold for 30 days while arrangements are made. If new owner is in CA you will be responsible for smog as car is fresh out of storage on non-op (and may need muffler repaired).
