Description for International Harvester Scout 1965
Up for sale is an amazing 1965 International Scout 80. I have owned several 1960s Scout 80s and this one is by far the cream of the crop. This Scout was traded into a classic car dealer from its original owner, here I purchased it and became the second owner. This Scout is a clean, traight, ust-free, ell maintained and original classic car that has had over $6k in documented services which are listed below. To only have $6k in maintenance over a 50 year period is quite remarkable and a nod to how loved this Scout was and how well built International Harvester made them. The original owners of this Scout were from outside of Philadelphia, A and purchased the vehicle new on August 30, 965 (a copy of the Line Setting Ticket is also included with all of the paperwork). While the Scout was originally for their two sons so they could commute to school and back home on the weekends, t quickly became their camp property vehicle during the summer months in Vermont. From what I understand from the original owners, ummers were enjoyed with this Scout as the family car and after it not getting much use during the 1980s, 990s and early 2000s, n May 2006 the brothers decided to have it restored and brought back to original LST quality. You can see by the many pictures that this Scout was cared for greatly and serviced regularly.

On a scale of 1-10, ith 10 being the best, his Scout is an easy 9 without any shimmy or shake. She shifts well and tight and runs well. This is a one of a kind, riginal condition Scout 80 and probably one of the cleanest Scouts still in existence. The paint is incredibly smooth to the touch with no oxidation at all. Windshield wipers and heater both work great as well and one of the best features is the fold down windshield that gives you your safari look. Please checkout all of the detailed pictures and see for yourself at how clean this Scout is.
