Description for International Harvester Scout 1968

Well, ust look at her. As you can see, he's a gem. In her youth (and frankly, ell into her middle age) she was a hard working Wyoming farm truck, nd her patina is without doubt one of her biggest charms. She is now retired and well into the sorting process. Much good work has been accomplished (professional mechanics, eceipts kept) and certainly there is more work to be done depending on how far you want to restore, ut she will gladly get you to Sunday coffee in town, r even back and forth to Nantucket, ust as she is. She scoffs at showroom beauty queens yet she looks undeniably ravishing on the beach. She makes friends easily wherever she goes. Will you be her new foster family? We hope so. Below is a listing of work that has been accomplished. Happy Bidding!

IH Scout 800 1968 - 152 Comanche 4cyl, Speed transmission, win Stick Dana 4x4 I bought the Scout from Woodys Wagons and Classic Cruisers, Y. They restore older trucks and American classics and performed a lot of the initial repairs and upgrades. I used A1 Transmission in Norwalk CT for transmission and drive-train work. I used Marks Auto in Stamford Ct for various other odds and ends and electrical work. All well respected professional mechanics have performed the installations and repair work.
