If you have traveled to the Jersey Shore ( Wildwood/Cape May) chances are you're seen this interesting truck parked out front of a State Farm insurance agency. This International was used for adverting and used in parades to promote business. It was used for the last 10 yrs but the owner decided it was time to sell only becuase the elements where starting to wear on the truck. When I aquired the truck I installed a new 6-volt battery and with starting fluid she fired up. After and few more attempts and needing to move the truck I had no reponse from the starter. It seems like there's no power going to the starter and a new seloniod may be needed. Motor sounded good and oil is very clean. Brakes work and some lines have been replaced. Tires all hold air but have dry rot. Paint was done about 10yrs ago and it looks great from 10-20ft but upon close inspection you can see rust bubbles, ents etc... Overall the truck is all there and with a few hours and cleaning I'm sure you could use the truck. Frame is solid, would replace the passenger side fender. Interior is missing the driver side door panel and headliner. Inline 6 with a 3spd on the column. Driver side window and passenger side vent window are cracked. Over an inexpensive truck that you don't see many of compared to other truck from the era. Could make a great restoration project, s-is driver or rat rod style truck.
