Description for International Harvester Other 1968
You are bidding on a 1968 International Travelall 4 door wagon with tailgate and power rear window, olid front axle, eavy duty 3-speed transmission. It has 100,328 miles. My parents bought it new, elivered on 2/13/1968. I've had it for 20 years. My parents used it for 3 years everyday use, fter that only for camping and recreational use. I used it for camping for the first 10 years I've had it. Occasional pleasure use after that. The vehicle runs and drive great. The body is in excellent shape. The floors and body panels are solid. Surface rust, f course, n the frame and suspension, ormal for a vehicle of it's age. There is a stain on the carpet on the front passenger floor due to mice getting into the cowl and plugging the cowl drain. In cleaning it out, found some rust beginning in the under dash cowl surface, o I guess it has been plugged for a while. I cleaned it out, ut I can't say it won't leak some in a rain. That is the only rust I'm aware of. The pic I've included is of the driver's side, ince the heavy duty heater obstructs the view of the passenger side. It had an auxiliary fuel tank installed after purchase, ut is currently off the car and is included loose. The reason it is currently off the car is that it would only pump down half the tank. Apparently the pick up tube didn't go down far enough! I was intending to get it repaired but never got to it. The fuel gauge doesn't work. If it is anything like the aux. tank, he float desolved is this wonderful new gas we have to deal with. When the car was only a couple of years old, t was bumped in the rearresulting in a dent in the rear body and tailgate (see pic). It was never repaired, ut a new tailgate skin was purcheased and is included in the deal. There is a hole in the rear of the headliner where a bicycle handlebar poked thru (see pic). Any questions, lease contact me. $ 500.00 deposit within48 hours of bid closingvia PayPal, emaining balance cash on pick-up.
