for sale is a 1962 international scout that has been redone from the ground up. this was a pet project between father and son, nbsp;now its time to let it go to someone who will use it and enjoy it. i have pictured all of the bad spots in the paint. it has been painted for about 15 yrs and could us a freshen up. the body is very straight and other than what is pictured, he paint is in great shape. garage kept and hardly driven. the motor and all of the drive train has been replaced with chevrolet stuff other than the axles. the motor is a 383 stroker and is REALLY strong and fun to drive, ery hotrodish feel. it sounds awesome just idling. the tires and wheels are new with hardly no miles. i will try to find out some details on the motor build and estimated hp and update this ad asap. everything on the motor and drive train has been chromed that he could buy, nd it has a new aluminum radiator as well as an aluminum gas tank that is pictured. i won't guess what he has put into this truck but you will be hard pressed to find another scout, et alone a 62 that has been built with this kind of love.this is a truck that you can actually drive and enjoy without wondering if you will make it home. please ask any questions and i will try my best to chase the answers for you. this is a rare truck and if you are into scouts then you know how they all look at this age normally. if you have an offer and we agree i will end the auction early and arrange for pickup.
this also will come with any extra parts that are laying g around, know there is a set of doors that have roll up windows that would need painting but otherwise in pretty good shape.happy bidding
