Description for International Harvester Scout 1979

Runs, drives, stops.This scout is missing inner door panels and the glove box.The floor boards, rocker panels,floor supports, and front cab mounts need replaced.The good news is I have purchased these parts brand new from anything scout and are included. (Except for the floor because its flat and rectangular and very easy to make)

I Currently drive the scout in and out of my garage when I have to move it the brakes work awesome. I Have realized that this scout needs more love and attention then I can give her in the near future and she needs a good home. I removed the hood, passenger front fender and both doors(the hinges need rebuilt). I plasma cut out the passenger floor pan to see what all I needed to replace. I ordered the parts and that's all the farther i have made it.
Passenger seat and rear seat appear to be in great condition. Rear seat still folds.
Other than the floor the rest of the scout appears to be in great shape for its age.
All glass is accounted for. Windshield has a small chip but no crack.
Passenger door is rust free driver side needs a lower skin inside and out.
Also included is the bikini Top which is in great shape no tears.
