The weaker rag joint steering flange was also replaced with a Borgeson U joint to reduce steering play and increase safety. - The original Dana 35 front axle. with drum brakes. was swapped with a Dana 44 axle. with disc brakes. from a 1980 Scout II. - The amp driving the component speakers is a McIntosh MC420.
