Engine turns over and sometimes starts, BUT quickly quits.

** CRACKED ENGINE BLOCK!**

220 ci Silver Diamond 6 cylinder Engine turns over and sometimes starts, but coolant ended up in oil pan, so coolant system was drained and filled with ATF to avoid internal corrosion.

ORIGINAL FUEL TANK DRAINED.

SMALL FUEL TANK used to run engine.

6 volt Electrical system removed

12 volt conversion begun with Battery, coil, distributor, voltage regulator, gauge cluster, rebuilt starter and generator.

Odometer reads 29315; exceeds limits as documented on title

frame is solid. Rust issues in the usual places for a 65 year-old truck, [cab floor, doors, grille, bed, fenders, running boards, lower cab]
