Description for International Harvester Scout 1979

This Scout was restored "FRAME OFF BODY" with many NOS parts that are no longer available at any price. Body panels were "NEVER EVER RUSTED" ..... totally rust free parts from the California "body tub" to the doors from southern states were use. This is a frame off restoration, ONLY DRIVEN ABOUT 100 MILES SINCE FINISHED. I am still finishing a few minor detail, new box fresh side mirrors will be installed on both sides.
The front bumper was rechromed, but the rear bumper has original chrome that now looks weak on this restored Scout. I will include an extra bumper to be rechromed to the buyer. Bumpers take three months or more to get chromed. I couldn't wait that long. Drive it with the present bumper and send the other one to the chrome shop.

I 'm selling because I have another similar Scout ll RALLYE to finish restoring. I need the space and funds to reinvest.

I took the pictures without some trim items finished. BUT I WILL COMPLETE THEM BEFORE THE SALE TRANSACTION ie. (mirrors, IH emblem, rubber door seals are attached but not glued, aluminum door seal covers carpet)
