Description for International Harvester Scout 1969

I am selling my Aristocrat as I just don't have time to complete it and want it to go to someone who will be able to enjoy it. Over the last year, a lot of work has been performed. Some of these items include:
* Rebuilt carburetor* Valve cover gasket* Intake and Exhaust manifold gaskets* Complete exhaust system* Spark plugs/wires/distributor cap/rotor* CPT body mount bushing set
* CPT passenger side middle body mount* New brake shoes, drums, wheel cylinders* Passenger side quarter panel and rocker panel patches installed
The body is mostly solid. Very little rust remains, the worst being in the floorboard region. Look at the pictures. Unless you are building a museum piece, I don't think they are worth replacing at this time. There are some small bumps and bruises that would need addressed before paint.

The doors open and close. The windows roll up and down, though not great. The hood opens and shuts as expected. The rear lift gate and tailgate open and close. There is some fabric that comes with the sale for upholstering the seats.

The engine starts and is capable of running around town. It does have a "tick" which I believe to be from a noisy lifter. It does not seem to affect drive-ability. The three speed transmission shifts as expected for an SUV of its era. Four wheel drive engages and is operational. It brakes like a manual drum brake SUV of its era did.

Electrical: Headlights work, brake lights worked, rear turn signals work, reverse light works. I haven't had time to see why the parking lights, front turn signals, and horn aren't operational. The driver side vacuum windshield wiper works. It currently has an electric fuel pump installed. You can continue to use this or install a new mechanical fuel pump.

This Scout has a lot going for it but it is not "finished". It needs finishing tires/mechanical/electrical touches to make it a fun weekend driver. Then, body work, fitment, and paint would be desired to take it to the next level.
