1929 six speed special project/runner

Description for International Harvester Other 1929

I am selling this 1929 Six Speed Special because I just don't have the time to restore another one. This truck has new tires. and runs and drives very good. The brakes work good for a truck of this vintage. The sheet metal is in good condition. this truck was always stored in doors so there is no rust and it is in remarkable shape for a 1929. I have driven it around and find it drives as good as the one I restored. It will also come with the front fenders. hand crank. faring that goes between the fenders. and door interior panels. This is a great start and easy rebuilder. I restored one much worse just wish I had the time to do this one. All that said the wood is in poor condition and will need attention. The tires are new and wheels are in good shape. The engine runs very good and I was told by the estate when I bought the truck it was rebuilt. looking at the paint and the way it runs I do believe it was. The two speed and transmission work good as well. The wood in these trucks is straight for the most part and is fairly easy to rework (from experience) This will be a no reserve auction so bid to own and if you have less than a 5 score please call me before you bid.
