Description for Isuzu Impulse 1986

Now is your opportunity to buy the car you wanted in your younger days. Presented for your consideration is this 1986 Isuzu Impulse.

This car is a beautiful example for the money. With 188,000 original miles (under 6,500 miles/year), his car is ready for anything.

I bought it in February in Southern California from the second owner who had purchased it out of an estate in Huntingdon Beach.

I drove it from California to Raleigh, C (over 2800 miles) with no issues. When I returned I had a water pump start squeaking and the A/C was a little weak. I had both of those repaired at a cost of $800. A new water pump was installed, s well as a new A/C compressor, ith 134a Freon added. It blows ice cold, nd you even have to turn it down occasionally because it's too cold

This car is equipped with the 1.9l 4cyl non-turbo motor. This leaves less to break. It runs very well, nd I would drive it anywhere.

I also replaced the lifter struts for the rear hatch with brand new ones.

Included in the sale are a full set of the coveted "waffle wheels" with center caps.

The 5-speed gearbox and rest of the drive train make no noise.

The paint is in excellent condition for the time period and age. There is a little cloudiness on the hood, ut otherwise very nice condition.

The only thing that does not work is the original AM/FM radio. I didn't want to replace with an aftermarket, ut if the new owner would like to, hey are readily available. The antenna was also missing when I purchased the car.

The headlight lids go up as designed, nd the power windows go down well.

Before I bought the car, new fuel pump, ew suspension, nd new brakes were all installed. The tires are in good condition, ut the rears (formerly the front) have some wear on the outside edge from not being rotated. They are still very serviceable though. Also included is the special tool needed to do the struts on these cars, s well as custom mixed touch up paint I had made for this car.

Don't miss your chance to own one of the most rare cars of the era!

Also included are the shop manual and a complete CarFax.
