Isuzu Diesel lovers. this is the kind of deal that only comes along once in a very great while. This 1986 DLX Standard Cab Long Bed 5 Speed Turbo Diesel Pu'p. This is a one owner. non smoker. all original vehicle that has been meticulously maintained and has very detailed maintenance records to go with it. Given its age it is in very good condition. My father bought this truck new in 1985 for Auburn Valley Isuzu in Auburn. Washington. He used this vehicle to drive to work. a round trip of 107 highway miles. He retired in 1994. and in June of 1996 he had the entire engine rebuilt. This vehicle has high miles. but they are all highway miles. approx. 50. 00 of those miles were towed behind an RV. He has maintained this vehicle with a zeal that borders on fanaticism. I have all of his maintenance logs from 2003 onwards. I also have all of the receipts for the engine rebuild in 1996 as well as all of the original purchase paper work including the window sticker. My father loved this truck. and its present condition reflects that. It does have its share of warts. The front windshield has a hairline crack in it. the headliner has a split seam. and is pulling away from the edges. It will need new tires. and has had some bondo work to repair dents and dings. There is some rust in the bed. and one spot inside the cab. The front turn signal lenses are cracked. I will be happy to provide a complete photo set of all of the rust issue upon request. From my own experience in auto body repair. the rust issue is quite repairable. If I were doing the work. I would cut out all affected areas. and weld in fresh flanged steel. None of the rust spots area inaccessible. The heat exchanger that the oil filter attaches to has been replaced. I still have the original. but it has developed a leak on a seam. this can be Tig welded. The truck is all original. but has had a tow bar mount attached to the front of the frame. As you can see from the pictures this truck is in very good shape for it's age and mileage. In addition to the truck you will be getting the Isuzu shop manual and the Isuzu parts manual.
