California/Las Vegas car, ust free, ccident free, are V-12 Jaguar Convertible. This car is a classic boulevard cruiser, ast of the true "Jaguar" before Ford bought the company. Less than 280 vehicle classified as the "Classic Collection" in 1990 worldwide. Original MSRP almost $60,000 in 1990.
Second owner owned since 2006, eplaced fuel hoses, lamps, eplaced cloth top, resh paint in original colour, ew tires OEM Pirelli tires, nd new leather interior and console wood in 2010. Brand new battery as of July 2015. Shipped to SC in 2011-2012; owner living and working overseas, tored in garage by family living in South Carolina. Now the owner wants to sell fast and make room for another car being shipped from California.
Formerly insured by Hagerty Insurance Company for 100% replacement for $12,000 in 2012; now valued at $14,000. Many cars listed online between $14,000-24,000, epending on condition, nd appreciating every year. Clean car reports, o title or accident issues.
Pros: Appreciating Classic, 0% restored. Smooth turbine-like V-12 engine. Low collector car insurance rates. Maintenance records, arious expenses since 1990. Magazine articles, anuals, ooks, tc. included in sale.
Cons: Need to resurface the original alloy wheels, inish resurfacing of the interior door surfaces, eplace the automatic radio antenna, isc. trim pieces. No need for air conditioning in Northern California, o never used air conditioning, ust dropped the top! So probably need to check before using; could be recharging...just never a priority for me.Bonnet (hood) struts recently gave way, o need to replace to keep open.Typical Lucas British electric gremlins like idiot lights, indow switches, ometimes work, ometimes not, ut everything is okay now.
Once the reserve price is met this vehicle is to be considered sold in ‘as is, here is' condition to the highest bidder with no guaranties or warranties implied or given. Please have all funds available before bidding as a $1,000 non-refundable deposit is required from the winning bidder within 48 hours (2 business days) of auction end; an immediate $500 non-refundable deposit is required through Ebay's Paypal service to end the auction early if the "Buy it now" option is exercised and the balance in full is due within ten days of auction end in any case. In the case these terms of sale are not met seller reserves the right to either re-list the vehicle or offer the vehicle to the next highest bidder. Seller reserves the right to end the auction at any time before the reserve price is met. Payment by bank wire transfer, ash in person or cashiers check only. All inspections must be done prior to bidding. The non-refundable deposit in the amount of $1,000 is due within 48 hours of the auction end via bank wire transfer.
The full payment must be completed within 10 days regardless of a pick up date. In the event the deposit is not posted within the required period of time, he vehicle will be offered for sale to the next subsequent high bidder or relisted for sale. This is to be considered an absolute sale and the buyer is required to comply with all of my conditions in these terms of sale.
