Most collectors know that the Jaguar XKE market in the last twelve months has been soaring! Whenever a market gets on fire like that the really good stuff gets picked up right away. Most collectors want the cars that are original and have not been modified.

The car that is offered in this auction hits all the right buttons. It is a 1970 Jaguar XKE six cylinder...it might be called an "almost no mileage" car. The reason for that is this car only has 7,834 miles according to the current owner. The paint is original, he interior is original, othing of any consequence has been taken apart. Nothing has been restored. Of course the car is a 4-speed. It is the very rare and beautiful Sable paint with a lovely beige interior and the wire wheels. The car sounds and looks 99% as it did on the day it was sold. CHECK OUT THE VIDEO!!! The car has been babied for the last 45 years and the net result is an ORIGINAL - ORIGINAL - ORIGINAL SURVIVOR!

We believe that we do not have to go into the technical points of this car as most people that are interested in this car will know their XKE history. We should mention that Enzo Ferrari is said to have made the comment when he first saw the XKE that it was the most beautiful car ever made. Remember that Ferrari had made some pretty beautiful cars by the time the first XKE came out but still he called the XKE the most beautiful car. I don't know that there are a lot of people who would argue with his comment.

The seller told us that this car for sale in this auction is a very original Series II E-type roadster.
