The Classic Car Gallery is proud to offer this stunning 1956 JAGUAR XK140 drophead coupe. This is a one owner car!!! The car was beautifully restored in Florida by FANTASTIC FINISHES and HOTIE MOTORS. Both shops are renowned for their fine craftsmanship, ttention to detail and historical accuracy. The results are self evident, s this Jaguar was restored with an open checkbook, nd to the very highest standards.

The car is well sorted and performs as well as she looks!!! She was recently serviced including a new head gasket, adiator and ignition system. The engine (original to the car and matching numbers) has great compression, il pressure, tarts easily and has great power and torque. The engine and engine compartment are detailed to a very high level. The Moss gearbox (original and matching numbers) shifts well and the clutch takes up easily. The drum brakes are well set up, nd the car stops straight and true. Finished in OLD ENGLISH WHITE with TAN soft top roof and RED leather interior, he car makes a bold British motoring statement. The paint is excellent and comes with a lifetime warranty. The interior RED leather is new and gorgeous. The wood is finished to a very high level with great “burl” on the veneers. The carpets and canvas top are finished to the same high degree as the rest of the car. this XK140 is supplied a with a large history file containing titles and invoices. The car lived in Mexico for most of its life, nd her original owner, SCAR FERNANDEZ (born in 1927!!!)bought the car new in 1956, nd has retained ownership ever since!! We have documentation on the ownership, ncluding original purchase invoice and importation records. The car was always cherished, nd well maintained her entire life. The underside of the car is finished to the same level as the top.

The XK140 drophead coupé is perhaps the most sought after of all the XK models as it combines the swoopy lines and the veneered dash of the XK120 with the extra cabin space and improved steering of the XK140. The practicality of a folding hood and wind up windows make this model particularly suited to. It is the rarest of the three XK140 body styles with

only 2,800 being produced before the introduction of the XK150 in 1957.
