Description for Jaguar E-Type 1971

1971 Jaguar XKE, ecently out of long term storage. Vin 2r14271 Current title is dated 1998 with 20,300 original miles. The speedometer still reads the same approximate mileage. Previous owner bought it with the intention of restoring it but never got around to it. The plate that was on the car was from 1983. The car has all the options from that year. Hardtop, /C, ower Steering, djustable Steering Wheel. The car has the original leather seats, hey are holding up well considering being 44 years old, ut are weathered by time. We got it running by rebuilding the carbs and freeing up the butterflies in the intake. Cleaned the pick-up for the fuel pump. Replaced rubber fuel lines. Car runs on its own now. Clutch works now that the lines were changed. Clutch does slip and will need to be replaced. Color was originally brown and repainted at some point, rimrose yellow. ( Its a creamy yellow ) Door panels are in the trunk. Only rust I can find is some spots on the passenger door. The seal for the rear window in the hardtop is missing. Shouldn't take much to make it a daily driver. This vehicle is being sold as is, here is with no warranty, xpressed written or implied.
