Description for Jaguar XJS 1988
This is a clean California Original Jaguar XJS V-12. It has only 44. 57 original miles on it. It is well equipped with automatic transmission. air conditioning. power steering. power windows. moon roof. bolt on wire wheels. 4 new tires. tilt and telescopic steering wheel. new front hood struts. new exhaust. am-fm cassette and more. It has a clean title and clean CARFAX with no issues. The body is clean and straight but has some rust bubbles that keep it from being super clean on two panels. These are pictured here to see. Not rusted trough and easily fixed. It is very solid underneath the vehicle. The chrome is great all around the car and two of the wire wheels are in great shape and two will need a bit of help. No bent rims. all are round and the spokes are tight. The brakes are in good shape as well with excellent rotors. A car cover is included also. This vehicle DOES NOT RUN at this time. It needed a new distributor installed (I will include a rebuilt one that I bought). fuel lines need to replaced as they have developed some leaks and some of the wiring on top of the motor needs sorted out along with some of the vacuum lines. The drivers door exterior door handle is not working right. the interior handle works fine but the outside one has become disconnected somehow. It did run prior to the distributor issue but now needs a bit of TLC to get it up and running again. The motor turns over easily and is solid. The interior is in decent condition. headliner is good. the carpet is good. the rear seats look to be unused. the drivers and passenger front seats would need attention on the bottom cushion area on both. The top of the dash is in fair condition but has a couple of cracks in the vinyl that would need attention. If you are handy and know how to work on a Jaguar this could be a great car to get back on the road. For California bidders. the license fee is about $110 with no big back fees due. Please call Rich at 925-413-2990 with any questions. It has no reserve and goes to the highest bidder. I just have not had the time to tangle with the cat. it is time for a new home.
