Description for Jaguar E-Type 1969

I am offering for sale my 1969 Jaguar XKE Series II Roadster which I have owned for 33 years. The Jaguar was purchased in the St. Louis. nbsp;Missouri areain 1982 with 77. 66 miles on the odometer. I garaged the Jaguar and drove it in bright sunny weather in its original condition for fifteen years. In 1997 the XKE began a multiyear restoration project. The body work was done by a professional restoration shop in Illinois and took 18 months with 452 hours in labor. The body was sanded to bare metal. All defective panels were replaced with O. E. M. material and the chrome trim and bumpers were replaced or restored to new. The body was painted Primrose Yellow and then clear coated. Starting in July of 2000 the XKE underwent a 18 month full interior restoration including trunk and enginebay by Bassett Jaguar of Wyoming. RI. to bring it to show condition standards. In 2009. the engine and clutch received a total rebuild to a better than factory condition by professional shops here on Cape Cod. The engine has 1400 miles since rebuild.
