It features its MATCHING NUMBERS 3 carb 3.8L 6 cylinder engine and 4 speed manual transmission which combined produces over 265 horsepower. Also featuring; matching tan convertible soft top with matching tonneau cover, new tan leather interior, woodgrain steering wheel, and correct knock-off style wire wheels. Legend has it that when the Jaguar first went on display at the Geneva Motor Show in 1961, none other than Enzo Ferrari himself remarked that the E-type was the most beautiful car he’d ever seen. It's still being said fifty years later. Designed by a noted aerodynamicist Malcolm Sayer, the E-type was meant to cheat the wind. Its glass covered headlights, long hood, short rear deck and compound curves also coincidentally looked great. With a 0-60 time of around seven seconds and a 150 mph top speed, the Series I E-type was near the top of the early 1960s food chain.
