Description for Jaguar S-Type 1966

The Jaguar S-Type is an automobile which was produced by Jaguar Cars in the United Kingdom from 1963 to 1968. It was a technically more sophisticated development of the Jaguar Mark 2, offering buyers a more luxurious alternative to the Mark 2 with disc brakes in all four wheels. The S-Type sold alongside the Mark 2, as well as the Jaguar 420 following its release in 1966. The 1960s S-Type should not be confused with the retro-styled Jaguar S-Type sold from 1999 to 2008.
The car drives great and is in excellent condition. Very fast. In fact this was the fastest production car in 1966. Top speed 125 mph! It has automatic transmission that works very well. All original with matching numbers and original manuals. Black leather interior, all original in decent shape for a 50 year old car. Immaculate wood dashboard and door wood trims, which is extremely rare for this type of cars which shows that the car was always garaged and well cared for. Starts right up every time. Probably one of the most beautiful cars ever built. I took it to the "Autos of the World car show" this year, the biggest car show in Rhode Island and it won 1st place in the international cars category. This car is well underpriced for a quick sale since I need room in my garage for a new car. It is very rare in the USA which will increase in value very soon. There are lots of Mark II's out there, but the don't have disc brakes in all wheels and they are not as nice looking as the 3.8S. Don't miss out in this investment. This car will double or triple in price in the next few upcoming years. The car leaks some oil as all classic English cars do. Easily fixed with the available newer sets of gaskets that are known to fix this for good. The paint is good, not perfect. It was repainted in the original color at some point. The body has an older restoration which has minor imperfections under the driver door. Not noticeable for the untrained eye. The left gas tank has not been used for a while for unknown reason since the pump seem to work fine. My guess is that the pump failed at one point and the previous owner never used it again. These pumps are know to fail occasionally and they are fixed with a hummer. Now it works. New spark plugs and spark plug cables. New air filter. This is a great opportunity to own one of the most beautiful automobiles ever built.*Will not deliver or ship the car. Needs to be picked up or driven away. The car is in Rhode Island, USA. The car is registered in Rhode Island and has passed the RI Inspection until 7/2018. In Rhode Island they will not issue a tittle if the car is over 10 years old, so there is no tittle. I have proof of ownership and I could get a certificate from the DMV that will excuse the need of a title for other states if needed if your state requires a title.
