Description for Jaguar XJ6 1988

I have for sale a very nice low mile 1988 original Jaguar XJ6. The car has less than 80,000 actual miles on it. The Fuel pump and filter are new, front brake pads are new and the error on the dash is cleared. While the car is now hitting its 30 year birthday and classic status, it is starting to increase in value. The body and all original paint is in great shape, with just a couple of little surface rust spots. The interior is in good shape with a couple of the seat seams pulling apart but the leather is in good shape. The wood laminate on the center console has a few surface cracks and the ash tray has been used. The car runs and drives and tracks down the road good. Here are the particulars; all power windows work, sun roof works, electric seats work, body and paint and all original chrome in great shape, tires in good shape, suspension is tight, alignment seems to be on track. It has new front hood supports. I have worked the brake system over and the front pads have been replaced, and the brake/suspension booster is also operable. The head liner fabric is loose over the back seat area, needs to be re-glued, the radio is original andkind of works, but the antenna is not original, I believe originally it was a power antenna and someone replaced it with a standard antenna messed with the coax cable. The right rear tail light has a chip off of the plastic lens, the driver and passenger front seats, the covers need to be removed and the center seat bottom seams need to be stitched back together. The heater/ A/C work but A/C might need a charge. This is not a daily driver therefore it may get driven a couple times a week and I don't seem to have any issues. While I think it could be driven anywhere without issue, if I were the buyer, for collectible reasons I would trailer it to its destination. As you see it has a clean Nebraska title with no salvage.I do have this listed on other sites and this listing may be removed if sold.
