Description for Jaguar XJ12 1974

Very rare non-fuel-injected XJ12L. The early 1974 series 2, XJ12’s had the same 4 - SU carburetor setup as the Series 1 cars. Engine and drive train is mechanically sound, brakes are good; however, the power steering pump does leak.Body is rust-free with good chrome. There is a small dent under the left front bumper (see Photo) and the chrome around the rear window is not installed (will be supplied with car). The plastic growler insert on the hood is broken (replacement will be furnished with the car). The paint looks good in the photos. But up close you can see hairline cracks in the clear coat.All glass is good and power windows and door locks work fine. Interior is in fair shape with exception of the right side of the rear seat cushion (see photo), and a crack in the dashboard pad (see photo). The exhaust system has a few pin-hole leaks that could be fixed by welding.The car comes complete with a full size spare tire on a chrome wheel, and original jack. Car does need a trunk carpet.
