The Series 1 Jaguar XKE is a favorite amongst collectors and enthusiasts alike, but rarely do you find a car that is the best of both worlds. We recently took in this exceptionally original 1964 E-Type Coupe on trade for our Dino Ferrari. Upon initial inspection we discovered just how exceptional this car truly is! As exterior trim was removed we were amazed to find that the car had never been apart before with most body panels still retaining its original paint!! All chrome, glass and weather-strips were original as well. The engine was rebuilt at 63k miles to be a reliable performer with .20 overbore, 9.1 compression pistons, and Isky cams. With the addition of the 5 speed Tremec gearbox and Wilwood disc brakes, the driving experience is completely transformed, truly an enthusiasts dream. In keeping with the E Types exceptional mechanical condition, a complete TLD exterior respray was just completed, making this car truly spectacular inside-out!
