Hi all,

This very rare car is located in Belgium.Only 293 pieces ever produced in LHD!
In 1988 the racing team from Tom Walkingshaw Racing won the big Lemans tour, a partnership between Jaguar and this racing team was born!That's when Jaguar decided to make some sport saloon based on the XJ-series, this offcourse in cooperation with their new partner TWR Racing.The side-company was called JaguarSport.
So in 1991 this Jaguar XJR TWR Sport was born, based on the XJ40 model.What makes this car so unique and appart from the XJ series ?Well, almost everything.
For 1991 standards there was no such thing a big comfy but still sport saloon-car!The 24 valve 3980cc inline six engine was build by TWR racing and replaced the 3.6 liter.With different camshafts, inlet and other little bits and bobs they managed to get this luxury engine a little bit sporty'er to 251 ps!
Also they changed the diff to a limited slip diff.The suspension was also uprated and made stiffer, with billstein dampers this car is 2cm lower than the original XJ40.Also wider because off the wheels and bigger/stiffer anti roll bar. Also re-valved steering.
Exterior and interior are some majore changes to keep the racing heritage alive.With added sideskirts, a plastic block grill, sport badges and a leather TWR steering wheel this car is set appart from anything else in that area off time.This car allready has the 'new-style' bodykit!
The speedometer goes to 260km/h ! That was something back in the day!
As can be showed in the pictures, the condition off this car is amazing.The last years off it's live, the car was held in a warm garage by a collector. That's why it still looks amazing.
Engine was recently updated with new oil, filters and runs nicely.The A/C is also taken care off with a new dryer and new joints, it just needs to be filled up with gas again.
