I cant believe I am doing this:Up for sale is a 1992 Custom Built Jeep Wrangler YJ.Here is the story:
At age 14 my son decided he wanted a Wrangler for his 1st car. I was excited, nowing we could find one that we could work on together, nd make some great memories. Found a soild project jeep, nd started out coming up with a plan. My wife's only requirement was that we do it right, o he would not kill himself in it.
Everything (and I mean everything) on this Jeep has been gone through, ebuilt, r is new.*Inline 6 engine (Compression checked and is great)*Axles regeared and new bushings etc installed*Quick disconect sway bar* Pro comp 6 inch lift* Bilstien Shocks (adjustable)* Braided Brake lines*35 inch BF Goodrich Tires (5 total)* Rust free body and Frame* New Carpet* VDO Sound Bar ( New/ needs hooked up)* VDO Rear Speaker Enclosures (New/ Need Speakers)* JVC Stereo*Bestop Seat Covers*Full Doors* Half Doors with glass tops ( not the cheap plastic zipper kind)* Custom Paint* Warrior Body Armor*Smitybuilt rear Bumper with Tire Carrier* Custom Front Bumper* Smitybuilt Security Glovebox*Even a New Steering Wheel!!* Tons more that I cant remember right now (It was a 2 year project)
Over 20K invested (I stopped counting), ll done with my wife's requirement in mind (Do it so he cant kill himself)
At age 16, y son decided that he really isn't into Jeeps, nd that driving a manual really isn't his thing. So at that point I had 2 options:(1) Kill the boy(2) Sell the Jeep to buy some little car that will look cute in front of Starbucks. I opted for option 1, xplaining that my wife and I could make another boy easier than me making this Jeep again. She did not agree with my opinion.
So here it is, fantastic Jeep, t is quite a vehicle, ever been abused (since its rebirth), nd I get compliments and people take pictures with it every time I stop. I would Drive it anywhere, rom the top of the Rocky Mountains, o a coast to coast adventure without a worry.
A $500.00 deposit on Paypal within 24 hours of the winning bid, ith the remainder paid in cash or cashiers check on pickup/delivery. I am happy to work with any shipper to get it to you (even bubble wrap the half doors to keep them safe), r will meet you at Denver International Airport, r even the bus station.
