1977 Jeep CJ5 Renegade Levis edition. 48,800 miles believed to be original. I put a new speedometer in it and it shows 2,300 miles, ut when I bought it the odometer showed 46,500. All original paint - this is one of the nicest CJ5's around! Has the much desirable 304 V8. 3 speed. I have the original Levis soft top PLUS an excellent condition Acme hardtop that goes with the Jeep. PLUS the original Levis bikini top (pictured on the Jeep). The Acme hardtop is worth $1,000 by itself. You cannot find these anymore.
I did replace the upholstery with original style material. Also, he wheels have been powder coated and new BF Goodrich tires put on. The drivetrain has been gone through by Longview Gear and Axle. I bought this Jeep in 1977 and put alot of work into it to bring it up to a very dependable and eye catching Jeep, ut still keeping the original paint and patina on it in order to preserve the originality of it. You simply cannot find Jeeps this old with this few of miles on them and in such good condition.
There is SOME rust repair on the drivers side floor board. This is still one of the most rust free Jeeps you will find from this era.
This Jeep tows perfectly. This would be a great vehicle to hunt out of or to just run around town in. You can't find these in this nice original condition anymore.
This thing turns heads and is FAST. The 304 V8 is alot of engine for this vehicle! You will not bedisappointedif you are looking for an original Jeep from this era.
