Selling a 1972 Jeep CJ5. Took on this project that a previous owner had started and completed it with amazing detail. Previous owner had fully boxed the frame for more strength off road and converted to power steering and cable clutch linkage that all works amazingly well. Once I purchased this jeep I brought it into my restoration shop and tore it down to the bare frame. We changed every fluid in the jeep, hecked for leaks, eplaced all belts, oses, park plugs, lug wires, istributor cap and rotor and fully repainted the engine transmission and transfercase using vht engine paint. The chassis was coated with a specialextremely durable coating that is normally used on industrial equipment and will last a life time. The suspension is composed of rancho 2.5in lift springs with brand new pro comp shocks. The engine is the buick v6 and has full length headers and side exhaust and also has a 4bbl carburetor. These odd fire engines have an amazing unique sound and make very good power in a light little jeep. This Jeep is a blast to drive! The body was in incredible shape with no rust. I turned it over to my paint and body shop where it was stripped dow, poxy sealed body worked and repainted in agorgeous classic orange but in modern base coat clear coat. The body was then fully color sanded and buffed to a jaw dropping shine. This jeep turns heads! There are no aftermarket body parts on this jeep all panels are real american Jeep sheet metal. The entire body tub was lined on the bottom side and top side with professional spray in bed liner that is the same product used on military and police issue ballistic armor plates. It looks incredible and insulates/protects this open top jeep for years to come. The front axle has Warn premium locking hubs and the rear axle is the dana 44. Tires are brand new 33x12.5x15 mud terrains mounted on a true classic set of era correct aluminum wheels which we stripped down and coated in matte black. They are light weight strong and carry on the classic/custom retro jeep look. In the back is a smittybilt roll bar and a swing away tire carrier with a brand new full size spare tire. Tail lights have been recessed into the body and replaced with LED units. The entire Jeep has been re wired with a brand new modern style blade fuse wiring harness. Everything works including the lighting, ipers, eater, auges etc. Gauges are brand new Blue led back lit units that are fully electronic and programmable with built in shift lights and speed indicators. All rubbers on the entire jeep from the fuel filler to the windshield seal have been replaced and the windshield is a Jeep marked brand new glass. In the dash is a sony cd player with 2 speakers and a front aux hook up for your I pod as well as a fused 12 volt outlet to charge your devices. All marker lights, unning lights, ail lights hood hardware and latches etc are new!!!! This jeep has been professionally gone through from top to bottom and will turn heads at your local car shows, n the trail or any where you take it. You wont find a nicer cj5 that is more fun to drive. Vehicle is sold as is with no warranty.
