I'm selling my garage kept 1991 Jeep Wrangler Sahara edition 4X4. The Jeep runs great it has 93,000 original miles on it and has been very well maintained over the years.The new owner will get a thick folder with all of the service records and repairs that have been done. It waspurchased at "Farrish Jeep" in Fairfax Va. on 8/10/1992.
The Jeep isequipped with theindestructible 4.0 inline six cylinder engine and has a five speed manual transmission.Other features areair conditioning, ilt wheel and am/fm cassette.
*** The most recent brand new repairs are as follows...Brand new complete clutch kit install about a 1,000 miles ago.Tune up,plugs,plug wires,cap,rotor,air filter & fuel filter about 5k miles ago.Replaced serpentine belt about 5k miles ago.Both outside door handles have been replaced with brand new ones.Four brand new tires installed about 7k miles ago.Replaced valve cover gasket about 7k miles ago.Installed brand new radiator about 7k miles ago with new coolant.Installed brand new muffler and tailpipe about 7k miles ago.
The Jeep runs and shifts and operates great even the in dashanalogclock still works it is a real blast to drive with the top off.The only thing that i can think of thatdoesn'twork is the A/C, t has never been checked because it was never really used anyway. The soft top is original to the Jeep and could stand to be replaced soon if desired.
I also recommend replacing the rear shocks as there is a clunk in them going over bumps, owever the front shocks are fairly new.
There is zero rust around the windshield area, hey are know for rusting in that area, he onlyvisiblerust that i have seen is a small minor area on the top drivers inner fender under the hood next to the horn. See picture.
