A 1981 Jeep Scrambler CJ-8 with an AMC 304 V8 and automatic transmission. This Jeep has been sitting in a barn for most of it's life, nd it shows as everything is all original and unmolested.
The drivetrain has been gone through to get all the systems working properly once again. All fluids have been changed and all gauges operate and function as they should. This is one rare Scrambler with power steering, ilt steering column, nd even a heater that blows hot.
Body will definitely need attention, ut the frame is straight and solid. These Scramblers are incredibly hard to find and this one is the first year made. Original paint, riginal seats, ven the original wood on the bed sides.
The main issues are the corrosion present on the body, ith most of it concentrating on the wheel wells and the rear of the Jeep. However it starts right up, ngine runs good, ransmission shifts on time, ransfer case engages as it shoud, x4 works excellent, nd brakes stop on a dime.
This is a great foundation for a restoration that will definitely bring up the value on this through the roof! These CJ-8's are extremely hard to come by and if you do find them, hey usually are selling for ridiculous prices.
