For sale is a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0L. I am the second owner to this vehicle, nd acquired it in 2013 from a co-worker with around 73,000 miles on it. He was the original owner of the car and took very good care of it.
I have been driving it regularly for the past two years. It recently developed a transmission problem and I do not have the time or funds to fix it.The transmission began slipping in drive. It worked fine in gear 1 and 2. It then began to slip worse in all drive gears and then refused to gointo 4th gear. The car is still drive-able in it's current condition but the buyer should plan on getting this fixed before any serious miles are put on it.
Below is a list of what has been done recently:
BFGoodrich all terrain tires (with about 20,000 miles on them) with 1.5" wheel spacersMagnaflow Super 50 cat-back with Magnaflow High Flow CatK&N cold air intakeReplaced headlights (x6) and grillReplaced all strutsReplaced rear springsRebuilt rear drumsNew front rotors and pads (right caliper was entirely replaced as well)Replaced front wheel bearing assembliesNew battery and starter in July 2013.
The engine is very strong and has always been well maintained. It has a lot of life left in it. The body is almost rust free and the paint is in very good shape for its age.
The interior needs some TLC. Driver seat is ripped, he headliner is drooping, nd a few speakers are blown out. The overhead console (compass and mpg display) does not work.
